Course materials: Material costs are expected to minimal for this workshop depending on the depth of level the client wishes to go to with a an area such as Emotional intelligence as an example and whether a 1 or 2 day duration is chosen. This knowledge will give them a good perspective on how to work with teams/groups. All courses are developed from an adult education/experiential learning perspective i.e. courses are participative and much learning is accomplished through doing.Course learning objectives:
Course outline/training methodology: The early emphasis of this course is on process facilitation theory and skills. Topics such as the facilitator’s role, setting up for success, group dynamics, good listening and questioning skills, etc. The second part of the workshop introduces a number of fundamental facilitation processes. The methodology is consistent throughout and true to adult learning principles. Participants will be introduced to a learning topic and will then complete experiential exercises to reinforce that learning. It is an excellent intervention for a newly formed team; it can provide great information for leaders/managers in more effective interaction with their staff.
